What is freedom in business and lifestyle? What is it for you?

If you could do life and business by design, do you know exactly what that would look like?

It was July 2009, when my sister-in-law called me and soon enrolled me in a network marketing company to share a whole raw food. I spent 18 months educating myself and building my business and realized that what I really loved most about it was the freedom-based lifestyle.

While I still eat this awesome whole raw food, I left the business after 18 months because I realized I wasn’t in love with it. I watched my sister-in-law be fully lit up, beaming from the inside out, and I didn’t feel that way. But I wanted to… really badly.

Freedom in that moment came in two ways:

First, I gave myself permission to change my mind, and I let it go.

Secondly, I took everything I had learned about coaching, personal development and business mastery and started to go to work on my own business.

I was going to have that freedom no matter what!

I took leadership courses and worked with high-level coaches. I was a high-achieving woman entrepreneur myself, and I soaked up the learning like my life depended on it, because frankly, it did.

My life, the one that is created by design on a daily basis, the one with the extraordinary vision, did depend on my level of commitment and going to work on getting it done.

And thank goodness I did. It was not always easy. If it was, everybody would do it. The journey is the rewarding part, and who a woman becomes in the process is pure pleasure… priceless.

Today, I live by design. I have freedom in how and where I do business. This year, in 2014, I’ve traveled and done business in Atlanta, Sarasota, Paris, Scottsdale, Los Angeles, and Miami.

I have my business in my laptop because I designed it that way.
I have time with my daughter. I create my calendar intentionally to accommodate business, school breaks, business travel and summer vacation. I travel monthly from Atlanta to Sarasota.

In July, I combined a family reunion in the countryside of Normandy with a client intensive in Paris — in French!

Today, I am a stand for women to live out of their desires. That’s what had me jump from network marketing to building my own international, boutique coaching business, and I am so grateful that I did. I get to teach women how to embody elegance in their own life and business.

My clients range from architect to angel healer, from technology guru to acne specialist, from health coach to luxury travel agent, and from web designer to sensuality coach. The variety for me is amazing and each woman is extraordinary beyond her wildest imagination.

Each one of my clients is beautiful, unique, and elegant. And all of us, individually and collectively are working on our own freedom of expression and authenticity in our business and our lives.
