From Pressure to Peace

From Pressure to Peace
Hello Beautiful!

As I'm going for my walk, I notice that I am experiencing pressure with a lot to do, and a lot more to handle going forward. I feel the pressure.

Only to remember while waiting for the light to turn to the walking signal for the pedestrian, that I recall that pressure is made up. It is a state of mind.
Actually, most often, we think others and circumstances are putting us under pressure. Causing stress. But that's not actually true.

I am the one causing myself pressure and stress. It is all my perception in the moment.

Because, in another moment, as I am walking up the hill, I realize that I am more focused on keeping my pace uphill than I am about the pressure. My thought changes and so does my feeling. My mind focuses on something else and my experience changes.

In Thinking Elegantly, I remind myself that I have the power. My conscious mind can direct my subconscious to focus on something entirely different.  There is no overcoming to be done. Just a different choice of focus, and suddenly, my circumstances and my to do list seem completely easy to handle.

It is indeed a state of mind. Nothing has changed on the outside. Only on the inside. Which is what creates the outside manifestation.

My mind is so powerful!

In a short moment, I experience the shift from pressure to peace. And peace is a place where you and I are at home. It is our true nature. So in knowing this, we can choose to think differently by focusing on something we actually desire.

In her book, Your Invisible Power by Genevieve Behrend, the author shares a prayer, a daily study if you will, which if you choose to apply daily in your life, will actually alter the way you experience yourself daily.

"My mind is a center of Divine operation. The Divine operation is always for expansion and fuller expression, and this means the production of something beyond what has gone before, something entirely new, not included in the past experience, though proceeding out of it by an orderly sequence of growth.

Therefore, since the Divine cannot change its inherent nature, it must operate in the same manner as me; consequently in my own special world, of which I am the center, it will move forward to produce new conditions, always in advance of any that have gone before."

This is what we're doing in Thinking Elegantly. It is a profound study of how our mind works, the conscious and the subconscious, and how we can use our God-given faculties to direct our lives in the direction of travel we most desire. It is powerful work!  Elegantly done, of course!

I am taking four more women who desire to take this journey at an incredible investment for only four more days, then the investment for this private coaching goes up...
